AUTHOR'S INTERVIEW : THE WIFE OF RED SOIL BY BINAY LAHA








1.When did you first realise you wanted to be a writer? 

Truthfully speaking I never wanted to be a writer. Actually I wished to be  either a Journalist or a professor. But as I am in this field I started to think to a writer from my college days. I can remember a day when I was discussing with one girl who was knocking me for what I wish to be. But I started to write from 2000 when I read in class nine. Please don't think her as girlfriend.
 
2.How does it take you to write a book? 

It is dependent on the book .While I have written "Auction of my soul " Series it has taken nearly six years. Still it is continuing..

3.What is your work schedule when you are writing? 

I do not write when I work in my institution.And when I write generally I don't keep any work. Specially I pick up my pen at evening and at night after dinner. Sometimes I write in a journey in my wps and I save it. I can't resist some beautiful ideas in my journey.

4.What would you say is your interesting writing Quirk?
 
Writing serious of poems Like I have done before with Auction of my soul series is having more than 582 poems. It may be the largest poetry series in India written under one single title.

5. Where do you get information or ideas for your books? 

Ideas comes in different round. I remain in best while I read or listen to music it comes like a fountain. Some good ideas come from bathroom also.

6.What do you like to do when you are not in writing? 

I like to walk and listen to music. I love read The Statesman .

7.Tell us something about your novel or books. 

Presently I am writing a history book. It has been nearly completed. A novel named Bad boy good girl is already sent to a reputed publisher. Hope it will get a wide range of readers across my nation India as well as abroad. At the same way I am busy in editing the next issue of Indology -a friendly English magazine. And the way I am busy as a sub editor  along with the editor of a Bengali magazine to be published in kolkata International book fair 2019.

8.What one of the most surprising thing you learned in creating your books? 

I learn my emotions, I learn people and I learn history and time at large. I love to learn Binay Laha as being narsistic.
