Questionnaire:

1) when did you first realize you wanted to be a writer ?

My journey with the time, with the stories and with the poetries started in childhood. When, I was introduced to the world of imaginations, to the books by my father. In every story, I could find myself; I can sense an immense pleasure and started converting my emotions and happiness into writing. Probably that was the start of my journey as an author.

2) how long does it take you to write a book ?

I never put any timeframe. For me, a book is a bundle of emotions and emotions needed to flow in you. If I have not explained well, and as a reader, if It's hard to mingle with those feelings, I have to work more. I always judge the book as a reader, If I am not satisfied with the detailing of emotions, I am sure that I am not ready to publish it.

3) what is your work schedule when you are writing ?

It all about feels, I write when i feel it.; there were days when i played with my pen for around 12-14 hours, and similarly, there were days when my pen played with me for several hours. But one thing is definitely in my schedule, at least write something every day.

4) what would you say is your interesting writing quirk ?

Interesting question. My writing quirk is my love. Love with words,  with books, love with the smell of the books. Stories in which somehow I find myself, sometimes I felt the world is a storybook, a big storybook and I am just character painted by someone, so thought to start being a painter of words.

5) where do you get your information or ideas for your books ?

Indian society and diversity always pull me in and weaves so many thoughts around me. I live in Delhi. As a city, it’s most diversified in culture, language, religion, rich, weak, nature, seasons. It has a great historical background, a political center. I mean you can get everything around you, feeling and sensing my surroundings is my forte. So you can say, that I get it from my surroundings.

6) what do you like to do when you're not writing ?

I like to read as much as I can. If I am not writing then in most cases I am reading trying to be the part of someone else's stories; I am also a daydreamer, So visualizing new stories, feeling my surroundings is also part of my life.

7) tell us something about your novel/book ?

"Bargad Ka Ped" is a collection of prose and poetries about the realities of life and a journey of a person, how a person unjumbles realities of life. Book revolves around some sour, some sweet memories, true love, friendship, and social evils. There are six sections in the book, and with each chapter, you will find a different me and you. I have written with genuine emotions, and I hope it will play with the strings of your heart.

8) what one of the most surprising thing you learned in creating your books ?

It took me around two years to complete “Bargad ka ped.” The most surprising thing that I learned in creating my book was how you get an idea and then start living those emotions, living your creations life and when I am that person, then it becomes easy to play on paper. For those two years of writing, with each of my small creations, I lived so many lives. One day I am the big banyan tree next day I felt like a child who got something new in his hand, and the next day I am a broken person. Every page is a new feeling, new emotion and I get so much to learn from those.
